Commodity Chairmen
Almonds/Nuts: Matthew Efird
Matthew is a fifth generation farmer from Caruthers, serving as a Director at Large.
Apiary/Nursery: Bryan Beekman
Beekman is a third generation beekeeper from Clovis.
Citrus: Rod Radtke
Radtke has been the farm manager for Harris Farms River Ranch for the past 25 years and now serves as the Citrus Commodity Chairman.
Dairy/Milk: Steve Nash
Nash, whose family has been in the dairy business since 1929, served as FCFB’s second vice-president from 2006 to 2008 and now is a Director at Large.
Deciduous Fruit: Jim Montross
With Montross’ background in tree fruit, he has provided great insight to the FCFB Board as the tree fruit commodity chairman. He has been on the board for five years.
Grapes: Debbie Jacobsen
Debbie is a third-generation farmer and a lifelong Fresno area resident. She served as the first woman president of FCFB from 2002-04.
Livestock/Range: Mark Thompson
For the past 15 years, Thompson has served as the Livestock Commodity Chair for the Fresno County Farm Bureau. He also serves on the organization’s Executive Committee and as co-chair of the Public Relations Committee.
Poultry: Michelle Ganci
Ganci has been the FCFB poultry commodity chairperson since 1993, and served for four years on the executive committee as commodity chair. She first became involved with Farm Bureau through the Young Farmer and Ranchers group in 1990.
Raisins: Rick Stark
Stark is the grower relations manager at Sun-Maid Growers of California. He brings more than 20 years of raisin grower's experience to the Board of Directors.
Specialty Niche Crops: Jerry Prieto, Jr.
In 2008, Prieto retired from serving as the Fresno County Agricultural Commissioner for nine years. His passion and commitment to the industry is genuine.
Vegetables: Jon Baloian
Baloian became involved in FCFB at the recommendation of a coworker. He is now the commodity chairman for Vegetables.
Vegetables/Field: Todd Hirasuna
Hirasuna became involved in FCFB after participating in FAACT Class V, during 2007-2008.
Rural Health and Safety
Earl Hall
In 2008, Hall became the Director for Rural Health and Safety.
