Future Advocates for Agriculture Concerned About Tomorrow (FAACT)
FCFB’s FAACT Leadership Development Program is an eight-month comprehensive educational program for community leaders focusing on issues affecting agriculture – the county’s number one employer. The once-a-month, day-long seminars provide half-day classroom discussions with leading experts and half-day tour/field trips. Subjects include Fresno County’s diversified agriculture, air quality, land use planning and growth, immigration reform and labor, international trade and economic viability, and water supply and quality issues.
Mission Statement:
The program will cultivate community champions who will advocate for long-term economic vitality of the region and provide in-depth information and education on critical issues.
